Medical Water Distillers


Distillers are used to remove impurities in water. Distilled water has a wide variety of uses in the medical field in addition to providing a safe way to rehydrate patients with weakened immune systems. Laboratories use distilled water to ensure tiny particulates and additives in tap water do not affect their results. Autoclaves also require distilled water in order to run and most autoclaves will not function with tap or bottled water. This is due to their purity sensor that determines if the water is pure enough for sterilization. Distilled water for medical use can also be used in scrub stations and for cleaning instruments before surgery.
