Device is the perfect easy solution to be alerted if temps go out of range or power dies.  We set 1 phone call and 2 text alerts to be kicked off if our freezer goes above 30 degrees or power fails.  

We already got an alert over last weekend during a storm.  Also got a call when power came back on which was helpful.  Device allows you to go online and download temperature history so you can see how long it went above a safe temp.  No need to manually hook up to computer to download history.

Unit doesn't use WIFI - cellular connection only which is already activated when it comes. Cellular connection is required if you want power outage alerts or your IT department doesn't like adding devices to your secure network.  

Very much worth it!
