The PowerSpin™ LX spins at 4,000 rpm. The benefit of this increased speed is a cleaner, more complete separation of cellular components thus yielding a superior serum or plasma specimen. The PowerSpin™ series centrifuges are extremely quiet for a better working environment. All PowerSpin™ LX models have a timer and on/off switch as well as other features that are normally only found on more expensive units.

The LX models meet CLIA recommendations for accurate speed control; it is simply the most economical model on the market to help your lab pass CLIA inspections.
